Funeral services for Mrs. Edna C. Wilson, 91, of Woodville, MS will be held April 17, 2014 at 11:00am from the Rose Hill Baptist Church in Doloroso, MS. Burial will follow at the Cory Cemetery in Doloroso with Rev. Dandridge Brooks, Sr. officiating.

Mrs. Wilson, daughter of Jasper and Bessie Stewman Carter was born in Woodville, MS and died at the Charlton Methodist Hospital in Dallas, TX.

She is survived by four sons, Arthur Lee Wilson and his wife, Bobbie; Thomas Wilson and his wife, Deveta, all of Dallas, TX; Lawrence Wilson and his wife, Eufelia, of Lawton, OK; Hard Wilson and his wife, Leasic of Baton Rouge, LA; three daughters, Christine Earls and her husband, George, of Baton Rouge; Bertha Jones of Dallas; Linda Green and her husband, Henry, of Gramercy, LA; nineteen grandchildren; twenty five great-grandchildren; four great-great- grandchidlren; two daughters,-in-law, Beverly Wilson and Dorothy Wilson both of Dallas.

Mrs. Wilson is peceded in death by her husband, Sam Wilson; her parents; one daughter, Myrtis Wilson; three sons, Woodrow Wilson, Joseph Wilson and Samuel Wilson; five sisters, Mary Dean, Beatrice Dennis, Cleo Givens, Ruth Barnes and Dorothy Kelly; four brothers, James Carter, Clinton Carter, Edward Carer and Cleveland Carter.
