Homegoing services for Elouise G. Anderson, 81, of Ferriday, LA, who passed on Jan. 14, 2024 at East Jefferson General Hospital, Metairie, LA, will be at 1:00 PM, Saturday, January 18, 2025, at St. Mark BC, Clayton, LA with Pastor Curtis Washington officiating.

Burial will follow at Clayton Garden of Rest Cemetery, Clayton, under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home, Ferriday.

Visitation will be from 4 to 6PM at the funeral home.

Elouise Green Anderson was born Sept. 18, 1943, in Clayton, LA, the daughter of Alberta Green Washington.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Jesse Anderson, Jerry Anderson; one daughter, Odessa Anderson; a number of brothers & sisters; aunts & uncles.

She leaves to cherish her memories to her seven sons, James Anderson (Tulla), Houston, TX, Paul Anderson (Lorena) of Crystal City, TX;  Kelly Anderson (Alma) of Deville, LA;  Timothy Anderson of  Ferriday, LA ;  Micheal Anderson of Natchez, MS;  William Anderson of Dallas, TX;  Larry Washington (Angela), Burleson, TX; one daughter, Arlene Vinson (Joseph); three brothers, Wilbur Washington (Hazel), all  of Ferriday;  Curtis Washington (Betty) of Thibodaux, LA; Rodney Washington (Christine) of Vidalia, LA; one sister, Catherine Leonard of  Greensburg, LA; three grandchildren that she reared as her own, Shalandra Anderson and Stanley Anderson;  both of Ferriday;  Christine Anderson of  Arlington, TX; twenty-four grandchildren; fifty-three great-grandchildren; fifteen great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
