Funeral services for Mrs. Eva Mae Johnson, 84, of Vidalia, LA will be held Saturday, October 6, 2018 at 11:00am from the St. James Baptist Church in  Ridgecrest, LA with Rev. Michael White officiating. Burial will follow at the Vidalia Cemetery under the directions of Concordia Funeral Home of Ferriday, LA. Visitation will be held Friday evening from 5 to 6pm at the funeral home.

Mrs. Johnson, the last child of Henry and Cordelia Lutcher McKenzie, was born in Learned, MS and died at her residence. She was a faithful member of St. James Baptist Church where she served as the assistant church secretary.

She is survived by her children, Keith Johnson and his wife, Rebecca of Katy, TX; Thomas Johnson and his wife, Tammy of Iowa, LA; Helen Johnson Jenkins of Memphis, TN  and Brenda Washington and her husband, Keith of Vidalia; fifteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Also her employer for over fifty years, Thomas and Pokey O'Beirne of Natchez, MS; her special friend and neighbor, Catherine L. Cartwright and her husband, Oliver of Vidalia.
