Funeral services for Evalgene Washington, 68, of Ferriday, LA will be held Saturday, November 18, 2017 at 11:00am from New Morning Star Baptist Church in Ferriday. Burial will follow at the Ferriday Cemetery with Pastor Danny "Tron" Lewis officiating. Visitation will be held Friday evening from 4 to 6pm at Concordia Funeral Home of Ferriday, LA.

Ms. Washington, daughter of Jimmy Williams and Connie Washington was born in Ferriday and died at her residence. She was retired from Concordia Parish School System as a janitor.

She leaves to cherish her memories: two sons, Frederick Washington and his wife, Patricia of Natchez, MS; Terrence "T" Washington of Charlottesville, VA; one daughter, Stephanie Murphy and her husband, Stacy of Natchez, MS; one brother, Jimmy Knoten of Baton Rouge, LA; one god-brother, Alvin Sheppard and his wife, Margaret; one aunt, Nina James all of Ferriday. Also ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Ms. Washington is preceded in death by her parents.
