A memorial service Frank Herman Smith, Sr., 71, of Ferriday, LA was held November 18, 2023 at Concordia Funeral Home of Ferriday. Pastor Eddie Schiele officiated.

Mr. Smith, son of Willie and Janie Drew Smith was born in Frogmore, LA and died at the Camelot Leisure Living Home in Ferriday.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Brooks Smith of Ferriday; two children, Frank Smith, Jr. and his wife, Cotia of Savannah, GA; Yolanda Smith of Lawrenceville, GA; his siblings, Willie Smith and his wife, Rose Lee of Mississippi; Benjamin Smith and his wife, Ruby; Dorothy Smith and Dessie Martin all of   Texas; Michael Dale Smith  and Yvonne Garrison and her husband Larry all of Ferriday; James Smith and his wife, Pam of Georgia; four grandchildren and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Preceding him in death are his parents; one brother, Isaiah Smith and one sister, Ophelia King.
