FRANKIE POWELL

A memorial service honoring the life and legacy of Mrs. Frankie Powell, 81, Clayton, LA will be held Saturday, August 22, 2026 at 10am from Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday, LA . Interment will follow at the St. Mary Baptist Church Cemetery on Lake St. John in Ferriday.

Mrs. Powell, daughter of Laveda Raymond, was born in Lismore, LA and died at the Franklin Parish Medical Center in Winnsboro, LA. She was a retired Program Director at Riverland Medical Center in Ferriday.

She leaves to cherish   her memories, two sons, Eric Powell of Clayton, LA  and Ledger Powell, IV of Ferriday; one sister, Debra Watkins   both of Ferriday; two aunts, Maxine Mahsffy and Mattie Evans both of New Orleans, LA; one uncle, Bennie Hurd of LaPlace, LA; ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren  and her good friend, Blanche Weatherspoon and her husband, Otis of Ferriday
