Funeral services for Franklin "Frank" P. Washington, 83, of Ferriday, LA will be held Saturday, March 12, 2022 at 11:00am from Springfield Missionary Baptist Church in Waterproof (Loamland), LA under the directions of Concordia Funeral Home of Ferriday.  Burial will follow at the Loamland  Cemetery with Pastor Ron Walter officiating. Visitation will be held Friday from 4 to 6pm at the funeral home.

Mr. Washington, son of William and Bessie Moore Washington, was born in Waterproof on August 18, 1938  and died February 28, 2022  at his residence. He was retired from Concordia Parish School Board as a custodian.

He is survived by two children, Danny McCraney of Vidalia, LA and Tita Sproulls and her husband, Christopher of Jackson, MS; three siblings, AC Washington and his wife, Lucille; Ferman Washington all of Waterproof; Francine Washington of St. Louis, MO; his close friends, Walter Melancon, Jr. of Ferridaty and Rafuiel McCraney and his wife, Shemeka of Vidalia. And many, many friends and other relatives.
