Funeral services for Freddie Reed, Sr., 73, of Ferriday, LA will be held March 19, 2016 at11:00am from Concordia Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Ferriday Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday evening from 6 to 7pm at the funeral home.

Mr. Reed, son of Freddie and Kate Reed was born in Houma, LA and died at his residence. He was a retired truck driver.

He is survived by his companion, Ollie Hampton of Ferriday; two sons, Freddie Reed, Jr. and his wife, LaKeisha Russin; Jeffery Williams all of New Orleans; step children, J. C. Hampton of Marksville, LA; Eulanda Lee of Ferriday and Laretha Hampton of North Carolina; one sister, Helen Lamark of Houma; three grandchildren, Elijah A. Reed of New Orleans; Daniel Lee Young and Milton Young of Mississippi.

Also a number of other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents and two daughters, Lawanda and Cassandra Reed.
