Funeral services for Fulton E. Wilkerson, 94, of Ferriday, LA will be held Saturday, November 23, 2019 at 11:00anm from the Old Daughters Baptist Church in Wildsville, LA and he will be  laid to rest beside his wife, Margaret Hampton Wilkerson at the church cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday evening from 5 to 7pm at the funeral home.

Mr. Wilkerson, son of Alex and Mary Bowie Wilkerson was born in Ferriday and died at the Merit Health Natchez in Natchez, MS. He was a Navy World War II veteran from October 4, 1943 to March 3, 1946, earning an honorable discharge. He was also a retired auto mechanic.

His survivors are his two sons, Wilbert Hampton of Ferriday and Derriick Wilkerson and his wife, Jean of Monroe, LA; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Mr. Wilkerson is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, all of his siblings  and one grandson.
