Funeral services for Gloria M. Green, 70, of Ferriday, LA will be held Monday, October 25, 2021 at 11:00am from St. Mark Baptist Church in Clayton, LA under the directions of Concordia Funeral Home of Ferriday. Visitation will be held Monday morning from 10am to service time at the church.

Mrs. Green, daughter of Will and Thelma Percy McCarthy, was born in Clayton and died at Baton Rouge General Hospital in Baton Rouge, LA. She was a retired paraprofessional for Concordia Parish School System.

She leaves to cherish her memories her husband, Cedric Green of Ferriday; her children, Cedric Green, Jr. of Kenner, LA; Michelle McCarthy of Baton Rouge, LA; Tiffany Davis and Brittany Green both of Ferriday; one brother, Will McCarthy, Jr. of Shreveport, LA; one sister, Sadie Foster of Austin, TX. one grandchild, Olivia Green of Ferriday. Preceding in death are her parents, four siblings, Leon Boxley, Jr., Dorothy Evans, Vera Dukes and Shirley Percy.
