Funeral services for Grant Green, 86, of Natchez, MS will be held Saturday, May 2, 2026 at 12 noon at the New Beginnings Missionary Baptist Church in Natchez, MS under the directions of Concordia Funeral Home of Ferriday, LA. Burial will follow at the Mt. Plains Church Cemetery in Natchez. Visitation will be held Friday, May 1, 2026 from 4 to 6pm at the church followed by Masonic rites beginning at 6pm at the church. And again on Saturday morning from 11am to service time at the church. Pastor Roderick Lewis is the officiating minister.

Mr. Green, son of Willie and Augustin Stewart  Green, was born in Natchez and died at the St. Dominic Memorial Hospital in Jackson, MS. He was a member of The New Beginning Missionary Baptist  church where he served as deacon.

He was a member of the Lucinda Robinson Chapter #6 O. E. S.; Enoch Lodge #18; M.W. W. T. M. Grant Jr. Lodge A. F. & A. M.; Queen of South; Pinkie D. Jackson Amaranth; LE Spencer Administrative Council; Herion of Jerico; Bernard Adams Post Master Council; Respective Hiram Grand Council; Alkoran Temple #35 Ancient Arabic Noble of Mystic Shrine for the State of Mississippi; Supreme Council; Supreme Grand Chapter O.E. S.

He leaves to honor his life and legacy: his devoted wife of 65 years, Ernestine Galmore Green; his children, Joyce Bingham (Carwin); LaDonna L. Moore; Raymond R. Green; Dr. Veronica Green and Cordell White (Arlevia); his grandchildren, Tiffany, Chelsea, Jonathan, Katie, Crishondra, Brandi, Raymond, Jr., Devron, Tyrondra, Faith, Kailisa, Zanti, Kairlyn and Amiyah. Also eleven great grandchildren and one great- great grandchild and many other relatives, friends and church family.
