Funeral services for Harry Roy, 73, of Ferriday, LA will be held Saturday, February 6, 2016 at 1:00pm from St. James Baptist Church in Ridgecrest, LA. Burial will follow at Ferriday Cemetery with Pastor Eddie Schiele officiating.

Mr. Roy, son of George Roy, Sr. and Alma Carr Roy, was born in Lettsworth, LA and died at his residence. He was retired from T. L. James Construction Company.

He is survived by his wife, Oneder Cephus Roy of Ferriday; one son, Verlon Roy and his wife, Kalita; six daughters, Veronica Jenkins; Leslie Jarreau and Malantha Roy all of Baton Rouge, LA; Carla McKeel and Barabrann Washington both of Ferriday; Savitri Willis of Boutte, LA one sister, Peggy Moody and her husband, DeArtrous of Shreveport, LA.

Also twenty one grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. And a number of other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents.
