Funeral services for Herbert Brown, 80, of Ferriday, LA will be held Friday, May 10, 2024 at 11am from Mt. Beulah Baptist Church in Ferriday. Burial will follow at the Natchez National Cemetery with military honors. Visitation will be held Thursday evening from 5 to 6pm at the funeral home.

Mr. Brown, son of Phil and Delphine Thomas Brown, was born in Ferriday and died at his residence. He was a Vietnam War and Desert Storm veteran earning an honorable discharge for his services to our country. He was retired from the Natchez National Cemetery as a grounds keeper. He was also a member of the Mt. Beulah Baptist Church in Ferriday.

He is survived by his siblings, Midget Brown and his wife, Dorothy; Lillian Harris all of Ferriday; Marville Brown of St. Louis, MO and Gloria Carter of Sicily Island, LA, Also a devoted nephew, Michael A. Brown of Ferriday. In addition to a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
