Funeral services for Horace Edwin Green, 67, of Clayton, LA will be held Friday, October 25, 2024 at 10:00am from Concordia Funeral Home of Ferriday, LA. Burial will follow at the Natchez National Cemetery in Natchez, MS. Visitation will be held Friday morning from 9am to service time. Pastor Jeff Turner will officiate.

Mr. Green, son of Isadore and Lena Atkins Green, was born in Clayton and died at the St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe, LA. He was a medical transportation driver and  also  he served in the United States Army earning an honorable discharge.

He is survived by two children, Cedrick Davis (LaKethia Walker) of Lake Charles, LA; Barbara Davis Myles (Kelvin) of Denham Springs, LA; one brother, Howard Bethley of Ridgecrest, LA; one sister, Sally Green of Monroe, LA; two grandchildren, Cedric Davis, Jr. of Sacramento, CA and Garrius Rankin of Denham Springs, LA.

Preceding Mr. Green in death are his parents, eight siblings, Isadore Green, Jr., Kenneth Lee Green, Donald Green, Sr., Earl Brown, Bessie Mae Montgomery, Dora Mae Green, Carrie Mae Cameron, and Linda Green. Also one grandchild, Marcus White, Jr.
