Funeral services for Jacqueline Ellis, 63, of Ferriday, LA will be held Saturday, September 28, 2019 at 11:00am from Zion Hill Baptist Church in Ferriday. Burial will follow at the church cemetery with Pastor Leroy officiating. Visitation will be held Friday from 5 to 6pm at the funeral home under the directions of Concordia Funeral Home of Ferriday.

Miss Ellis, daughter of Thomas Harts and Virdella Ellis was born in Ferriday and died at Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria, LA following a lengthy illness. She was a retired shipping clerk for a Kelly's Kids .

She leaves to cherish her memories: her two daughters, Robin Ellis of Houston, TX and Toshya Ellis of Grand Prairie, TX; four sisters, Judy Ellis, Marilyn Jackson, Cheryl Ellis all of Ferriday; Gloria Ellis of Las Vegas, NV; three grandchildren, Ariel Ellis of Houston, TX, Jayden Buford and Taylor Thomas both of Grand Prairie, TX.

Also two special nieces, Kelby Ellis and Jourdin Ellis both of Ferriday; one special nephew, Caleb Ellis of Ferriday. And a number of other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Thomas Ellis.
