Funeral services for Jakari M. Hogan, 23, of Shreveport, LA will be held Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at 11:00am from Concordia Funeral Home of Ferriday, LA. Burial will be held at Ferriday Cemetery under the directions of Concordia Funeral Home of Ferriday, LA. Pastor Darryl Powell will officiate.

Mr. Hogan, son of Ledger Powell, IV and Johanna Hogan, was born in Ferriday and died in Rusk, TX. He was an employee of General Electric in Shreveport. He was also a member of the New Birth Christianity  Center in Ferriday. .

He is survived by his father of Ferriday and his mother of Shreveport; his children, Da'Kaiden Lee and Zoee Hogan both of Little Rock, AR; his siblings, William Turner  of Monroe, LA; Danterrio Hogan and his wife, Kayla of Dallas, TX;  Nickolas Powell and Ledger Powell, V of Ferriday; Mayanna Lewis and her husband Brandon of Quantico, VA; Thomas Oliver of Oakland, CA; step brother, Marques White of Alexandria, LA; maternal grandmother, Joann H. Johnson and her husband, Tommy; paternal grandmother, Frankie Powell all of Ferriday.

Also his aunts, Reneice H. Small and her husband Bert of Atlanta, GA; Tyanna Johnson ; his uncles, Ramon Hogan and Eric Powell  both of Ferriday; a special friend, DeAngela Kee of Little Rock; and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
