Funeral services for James Johnson, Sr., 48, of Ferriday, LA will be held Saturday, June 22, 2024 at 11am from Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday under the directions of Concordia Funeral Home . A visitation will be held Friday evening from 5 to 6pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow at the Ferriday Cemetery. Pastor Danny Lewis will officiate.

Mr. Johnson, son of  Walter, Sr.  and Barbara McCoy Johnson, was born in Natchez, MS and died at his residence in Ferriday.

He leaves to cherish his memories: four children, James Johnson, Jr., James Lott, Ja'Myia Johnson and La'Kyia Lott; one brother, Walter Johnson, Jr. (Tangela); one sister, Cynthia Johnson all of Ferriday; one aunt, Shirley Rice of Vidalia, LA. And a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Preceded Mr. Johnson in death are his parents; two brothers, Eric and Dyron Johnson; three sisters, Stephanie Johnson, Sarah Watson and Miranda Johnson.
