Funeral services for Janet Williams, 82, of Ferriday, LA will be held August 15, 2015 at 11:00am from Rufus Baptist Church, 914 Mickey Gilley Avenue in Ferriday. Burial will follow at the Watkins Cemetery in Natchez, MS with Rev. Michael Reed officiating.

Ms. Williams, daughter of Robert and Katie Davis Williams was born in Ferriday and died at Merit Health Natchez Hospital in Natchez, MS. She was a homemaker and a member of Rufus Baptist Church.

She is survived by three sisters, Elizabeth W. Davis of Ferriday; Rosie W. Reed of Greenville, SC; Louisa W. Avery of Houston, TX; and a number of nieces, nephews and cousin.

She is preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, Aaron, Eugene, Johnny and Sam Williams; three sisters, Malissa W. Price, Alice W. Smith and Edna W. Brown.
