Funeral services for Jennifer M. Meredith, 58, of Ferriday, LA will be held September 5, 2015 at 11:00am from Sunflower Baptist Church in Ferriday. Burial will follow at Clayton Garden of Rest Cemetery in Clayton, LA with Rev. P. Thomas officiating.

Jennifer was born in Clayton, daughter of Louis Bowman, Sr. and Ruth Meredith and died at her residence. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by six brothers, Eddie Meridith and his wife, Carmon of Phoenix, AZ; Herbert Washington and his wife, Karen of Monroe, LA; Louis Bowman, Jr., Tyrone Bowman, Robert Bowman and LaVone Bowman all of Ferriday; ten sisters, Rose Taylor and her husband, Bobby; Carolyn Spurs and her husband, Dave; Sandra Cauley, Sharon Bowman and Sharika Watson and her husband, Sugar Ray, all of Ferriday; Mary Ann White of New York, NY; Geraldine James of Natchez, MS; Shirley Coleman and her husband, Eddie, of Vidalia, LA; Delores Washington of New Orleans, LA; one granddaughter, Marquane Meredith; a special cousin, Linda Nixon both of Clayton; her beloved companion, Jessie Butler of Ferriday.

She is preceded in death by her parents; one son, LaMarc Meredith and a daughter, Vernita Meredith.
