Funeral services for Jessie Williams, Jr., 68, of Ferriday, LA will be held Saturday, July 21, 2018 at 11:00am from the Eternal Hope Pentecostal Church in Ferriday. Burial will follow at Moss Grove Cemetery in Jonesville, LA with Elder David Vaughn officiating. Visitation will be held Friday evening from 5 to 7pm at the funeral home.

Mr. Williams, son of Jessie and Geneva Pierce Williams was born in Frogmore, LA and died at Riverland Medical Center.

He is survived by his wife, Jacqueline Chatman Williams; five sons, Gannon, Jerome, Tyrone, Lambert and Jessie Williams, III all of Ferriday, LA; one brother, Benjamin Williams  of Vidalia, LA; six sisters, Lee Anna Williams, Rose Anna Williams, Vertis W. Royster  and Jennie B. Ledet all of Lake Charles, LA; Clara Williams of Ruston, LA; Calola Williams of Ridgeland , MS.

Also thirteen grandchildren, one great-grandchild, two uncles, Alonzo Edwards and Arthur Edwards of Jonesville, LA; one aunt, Josephine Edwards of Lake Charles, LA.

Mr. Williams is preceded in death by his parents and one daughter, Geneva Williams.
