John O. Jones, 85, of Vidalia, LA will be held February 12, 2016 at 10:00am from Mt. Beulah Baptist Church in Ferriday with Rev. Eugene Williams officiating.

Mr. Jones, son of Herbert and Mary Johnson Jones was born in Pittsburgh, PA and died at the Oakdale Community Hospital in Oakdale, LA. He and his wife, Glenda were foster parents.

He is survived by his wife, Glenda Price Jones; one son, Orlando Jones; two daughters, Selena and Ja'Myri Jones all Vidalia; step son, Jeremy Jefferson and his wife, Pauline of Ferriday, LA; step daughter, Jasmine Dotson of Vidalia; and a number of grandchildren.
