Funeral services for Johnnie Lofton, 81, of Ferriday, LA will be held Thursday, September 2, 2021 at 2:00pm from the Shady Acres Pentecostal Church in Ferriday under the directions of Concordia Funeral Home of Ferriday. Burial will follow at the church cemetery with Bros. Bobby Ratcliff and Arlie Rowley officiating.

Mr. Evans, son of Johnnie Wesley and Mae Paul Evans, was born in Book, LA and died at Trinity Medical in Ferriday. He was a commercial fisherman.

He is survived by his wife, Lushia Mott Evans; one son, Johnny Jackson and his wife, Melissa; two daughters, Donna Wilson and her husband, Paul; Tammy Taylor and her husband, Tommy; four brothers, Marvin Evans, Acuff Evans and his wife, Peggy all of Ferriday; Nasif Evans and Delbert Evans and his wife Mary all of Sicily Island, LA; one sister, Kiola Ellis of Marion, LA.

Also nine grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren. Preceding him in death are his parents, four brothers, Houston, Hilbert, Enzor and Eddie Charles Evans and one sister, Margie James.
