Funeral services for Johnny Ray Osteen, 67, of Jonesville, LA will be held April 26, 2014 at 1:00pm from the Moss Grove Baptist Church in Jonesville. Burial will follow at the church cemetery with military honors and with Rev. T. A. Baker, Jr. officiating.

Mr. Osteen, son of Robert Osteen, Sr. and Joanna Jennings Osteen, was born in Rhinehart, LA and died at the Veteran's Hospital in Alexandria, LA.

He was a retired truck driver and a Vietnam War veteran, having served in the United States Army from January 11, 1966 to December 2, 1967, earning an honorable discharge.

He is survived by his loving wife, Norma Fisher Osteen; two sons, Kevin Osteen and his wife, Lahoma; Devin Osteen all of Jonesville; two daughters, Contranda Osteen of Alexandria, LA and Ebony Smith of Monroe, LA; one brother, Kennel Osteen and his wife, Stephine; one sister, Betty M. Osteen all of Jonesville; six grandchildren.

Mr. Osteen is preceded in death by his parents; five siblings, Robert Osteen, Jr., Joseph Osteen, Eric Osteen, Carol Osteen and Louise Osteen.
