Funeral services for Johnny Polk, 57, of Sicily Island, LA will be held Friday, June 24, 2022 at 12 noon from the Holly Grove Baptist Church in Wisner, LA. Visitation will start at 10am until service time also on Friday. Interment will follow at the Holly Grove Church Cemetery with Pastor Bill Cotton officiating.

Mr. Polk, son of John and Pearlie Mae Knighten Polk was born in Jonesville, LA and died at the Mary-Anna Nursing Home in Wisner, LA. He was a farmer.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his wife, Faye Denmon Polk of Sicily Island; his step children, Billy Chambliss of Monticello, MS; Christie and Darnell Chambliss of Wisner; his siblings, Raymond Polk and his wife, Beverly of Springfield, LA; Clyde Polk and his wife, Marie of Sicily Island; Carma Hardy and her husband, Glen of Olla, LA; Marilyn Graham and her husband Dennis of Gilbert, LA; Ida Rials and her husband, Herman of Wisner; Penny McDonald and her husband Phillip of Kelly, LA.

Also seven step grandchildren and one step great-grandchild; a special nephew, Jason Polk and his wife, Kimberly of Boonesville, MO and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.

Serving as pallbearers are:  Jason Polk, Tyler Polk, Josh Polk, Chris Polk, John Polk, Austin Polk, Justin Rials and Jed Rials.

Preceding Mr. Polk in death are his parents.
