Services for Jonathan D. Davis, 42, of Ferriday, LA will be held Saturday, January 17, 2015 at 12:00 noon from Mt. Beulah Baptist Church in Ferriday. Burial will follow at Ferriday Cemetery with Rev. Eugene Williams officiating.

Mr. Davis, son of Arthur Leon Davis and Mildred Hall Davis was born in Pineville, LA and died in Ferriday.

He is survived by his mother of Ferriday; four sons, Judah Davis f Memphis, TN; Darryl and John Powell of Clayton, LA; Jonte Parker of Forest Park, GA; four brothers, Arthur Johnson, Tyrone Milligan nd Carlos Plains all of Ferriday; Valrick Davis of New Orleans; six sisters, Karena McClain and her husband, Edgar of Natchez, MS; Venitra Davis of Ridgecrest, LA; Lorraine Hall of Ferriday; Cheryl Wren and her husband, Anthony of Slidell, LA; Cynthia Davis of New Orleans; Sandra Gibson and her husband, Leon of Mobile, AL; twelve aunts, five uncles and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Mr. Davis is preceded in death by his father.
