Funeral services for Joseph Willis, 56, of Vidalia, LA will be held Friday, July 28, 2023 at 10:am from the Springfield Baptist Church in Waterproof, (Loamland), LA. Burial will follow at the Loamland Cemetery under the directions of Concordia Funeral Home of Ferriday, LA. Visitation will be held Thursday evening from 4 to 6pm at the funeral home.

Mr. Willis, son of James and Pinkie Walker Willis, was born in Waterproof and died at his residence.

He is survived by his wife, Michele Daye Willis of Arizona; one godbrother, Joseph England and his wife Cassandra of Vidalia; one brother, Tony Willis and his wife, Jacqueline of Clayton, LA; one sister, Joyce Thomas of Monroe, LA; one aunt, Odell Franklin of Houston, TX; his caregiver, Annie Franklin; a special niece, Alexcia Ceasor of Ferriday. And a host of friends and extended family members.

Mr. Willis is preceded in death by his parents and one brother, James Willis, Jr.
