Funeral services for Kaycen J. Brown, age 10 months of Ferriday, LA will be held Saturday, July 19, 2025 at 11:00am from the Wayside Prophetic Pentecostal Church in Ferriday under the directions of Concordia Funeral Home of Ferriday. Burial will follow at the St. James Church Cemetery in Frogmore, LA.

Baby Boy Kaycen along with his twin sister, Kalani was born September 2, 2024 in Baton Rouge, LA to  Kadarius J. Brown and Briante Green and died July 6, 2025 at Our Lady of the Lake Children's Hospital in Baton Rouge.

He leaves to cherish fond memories of his short life: his parents; three sisters  Kayliah, Kennedi and his twin sister, Kalani Brown; three brothers,  Kadarius Brown, Jr., Kharter Green  and Karson Green; maternal grandmother, Julia Johnson all of Ferriday; paternal grandmother, Cathy Brown of Vidalia, LA; paternal grandfathers, Kenny Sampson of Houston, TX and Don Sheppard of Vidalia.

Also three aunts, Brittany Green of Vidalia, Chasity Brown of Baton Rouge and Regina Johnson of Alexandria, LA; two uncles, Henry Johnson of Alexandria and Tydarius Green of Ferriday and a number of cousins and other relatives.
