Services for Kendrell Watkins, 39, who died Friday, Feb. 23, 2018 at his residence will be 12:00 noon, Saturday, March 3, 2018 at St. Mark Baptist Church in Clayton, LA with Rev. Danny Lewis officiating.

Burial will follow at St. James Church Cemetery in Frogmore, LA under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home.

Visitation will be Friday from 5 to 7PM at the funeral home.

Kendrell was born Jan. 31, 1979 in Natchez, MS, the son of Willie James Watkins, Sr. and Diane Harden Dickerson.

He was preceded in death by his father and one brother, Willie James "June" Watkins, Jr.

Survivors includes his mother; two daughters, IKena Watkins, Genesis Lawrence; two brothers, Erique Harden, all of Baton Rouge, LA, Thaddeus Hamilton of Arkansas; five sisters, Anya Morgan(Andre) of Houston, TX; Alician Hamilton of Monroe, LA, Lynette Glasper and Frankie Powell both of Ferriday; Debra Bass of Natchez, MS; his maternal grandmother, Dorothy Freeman of Ferriday; and a number of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
