Funeral services for Kenneth Ray Griggs, 65, of Ferriday, LA will be held Saturday, May 11, 2019 at 11:00am New Morning Star B.C. with Pastor Dany Lewis officiating. Burial will follow at St. James Church cemetery in Frogmore, LA under the directions of Concordia Funeral Home of Ferriday, LA. Visitation will be held Friday evening from 4 to 6pm at the funeral home.

Mr.Griggs, son of Sylvester and Virginia Fletcher Griggs was born, Mar. 27, 1954 in Ferriday, LA and died April 28, 2019  at 7:29pm at Riverland Medical Center in Ferriday, LA.

His survivors are one daughter, Kendra L. Griggs, Atlanta, GA; five brothers, Russell Griggs (Linda) of Galveston, TX; Larry Griggs of Lamarque, TX;  Michael Griggs (Rose) of  Texas City, TX;  Kerry Griggs of  Las Vegas, NV;  David Griggs (Sandra) of  Reseda, CA; six sisters, Barabra Whitfield (George) of  Marana, AZ;  Regina Griggs of Shreveport, LA;  Lorrie Moore of Grand Hills, CA; Sherry Griggs Miller of  Mission Hills, CA; Holly Watson ( James) of  Long Beach, CA;  Jennifer White (Robert) of Cleveland, OH; two  grandchildren, Jamal Edwards and Jeremiah Edwards both of Atlanta, GA; one uncle, Eddie Fletcher of Milwaukee, WI; two aunt, Bertha Williams and  Theresa Williams of  Houston, TX; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
