Services for Kirkland Corneilus Watson, 56, died Jan. 25, 2018, in Jacksonville, FL, with his family by his side, will be at 11:00AM, Saturday, St. Mark B.C., Clayton, LA with Rev. Michael Smith officiating.

Burial will follow at the Zion Hill B.C. cemetery under the directions of Concordia Funeral Home, Ferriday, LA.

Mr. Watson was born May 6, 1961, Ferriday, LA to his parents Willie Harris and Delores M. Watson.

Kirk was a talented Christian that loved praising his Lord through song and worship. He played Sunday after Sunday until the Lord called him home to play for the Heavenly Choir.

He leaves to cherish his loving memories to his devoted wife, Elaine Waston, Jacksonville, FL; his father, Willie Harris(Dorleen), Clifton, MD; five sons, Terrence Cook, Sr, Honolulu, HA, Rafael Cook, Sr., Ferriday, LA, Kendall Watkins, Arlington, TX, Sherrod Whittie, Shreveport, LA, Brandon Whittie, Sr.(Tawanna), Stone Mountain, GA; one daughter, Desiree' Nash, West Monroe, LA; twenty-seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; one brother, Ronald Wilkerson (Evette); one sister, Sontra Davenport; a special niece, Tysherrica Melancon; one uncle, Harrington Watson, Jr.(Darlene); Godparents, Estella Williams, Mr. & Mrs. Leon Smith, Jr.; mother-in-law, Lucille Cook Coble(Edward), eight brother-in-laws, seven sister-in-laws; a host of other family, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents; Mr. & Mrs. Harrington Watson, Sr.; his mother; one aunt, Delcenia Smith.
