Funeral services for Lana Rachell Clark, 40, of Ferriday, LA will be held Saturday, August 12, 2017 at 11:30am from Myrtle Grove Baptist Church in Waterproof, LA. Burial will follow at the Myrtle Grove Cemetery in Waterproof with Rev. Jarrod Bottley officiating.

Ms. Clark, daughter of Bernard and Annie Council Clark was born in Ferriday and died at Riverland Medical Center. She was a cosmetologist and a member of St. John Baptist on Lake St. John.

She is survived by her parents of Ferriday; her maternal grandmother, Vernell Council of Waterproof; her eight year old daughter, Aaliyah C. Smith of Baton Rouge, LA; two brothers, Herman Clark and his wife, Sherrilyn Janelle of Ferriday; Fabian Clark of Natchez, MS; two sisters, Kona Clark Davis and her husband, Marvin of Clayton, LA; Dove Clark of Ferriday; her best friends, Shante Daniels of Waterproof; LeKitha Gholston of St. Joseph, LA.

Also two god brothers, James Davis, Jr. of Waterproof and Dewitt Hill of Ferriday; one god sister, Sara Harbor of Wildsville, LA; one god uncle, Thadeus Booth, Jr. of Waterproof. And a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
