Funeral services for Lawrence "Peg" Odom, 74, of Ferriday, LA will be held Saturday, October 11, 2025 at 12:00 noon from Concordia Funeral Home, 609 Alabama Avenue, Ferriday. Burial will follow at the St. Matthews Cemetery on Lake St. John in Ferriday. Visitation will be held Friday evening from 4 to 6pm at the funeral home.

Mr. Lawrence, son of Phillip and Lena Davis Odom was born in  Ferriday and died at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria, LA following a brief illness. He was a retired farmer.

"Peg" as he was affectionally known is survived by his devoted sister, Loney Mae Jefferson and her children of Ferriday; one brother, Curtis Odom of Chicago, IL; two aunts, Barbara Washington of Baton Rouge, LA and Ola Brown of New Orleans, LA. Also a special friend, Brenda Dorest of Ferriday and his friends at the Circle K convenience store in Ferriday.

He is preceded in death by his parents.
