Please join the family honoring the life of Lekita L. Mayberry, 39, of Ferriday, LA for a memorial balloon release on Saturday, November 15, 2025 at 4:00pm at 602 Wilson Alley in Ferriday.

Mrs. Mayberry, daughter of Louis and Odesta Quinn Hammond, was born in Ferriday and died from injuries sustained in an auto accident in Ferriday. She was a member of the New Jerusalem Church in Fayette, MS.

She is survived by her mother; her three daughters, Asia, Atasia and Alaina Mayberry; one sister, Iesha Mayberry all of Ferriday; her aunts and uncles, Mary Armstead of West Virginia; Lillie Fields, Cathy Davis, Bennie Quinn, Jr., Freddie Quinn all of Ferriday; Catherine Green of Vidalia, LA; Ivy L. Quinn of Baton Rouge, LA; one nephew, Heaven Smith of Ferriday.

Mrs. Mayberry is preceded in death by her father; one brother, Randy Mayberry;
