Funeral services for Lela Warren, 80, of Dallas, TX formerly of Ferriday, LA were held December 30, 2020 at Concordia Funeral Home of Ferriday. Interment followed at the Ferriday Cemetery under the directions of Concordia Funeral Home of Ferriday, LA. Elder Joseph McDaniel officiated.

Mrs. Warren, daughter of Oliver and Lela Grant Warren was born in Ferriday and died at the Methodist Dallas Medical Center in Dallas.

She is survived by her children, Joseph Warren Lacy and his wife, Anita of Harvey, LA; Tamara Warren Knighten and her husband, Leonard of New Orleans, LA; Dorothy Warren of Dallas; Rita Warren Hunter and her husband, Robert; Celeste Warren Harris and her husband Terry; Kathleen Warren all of Houston, TX.

Also three sisters, Ollie Broussard and Victoria Taylor both  of Ferriday; Alberta Womble of Inglewood, CA; fifteen grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends,

Mrs. Warren is preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Dorothy Warren Mason, one son, Oliver Warren and a grandson, Dezmen Alexander Warren.
