Funeral services for Lenard Ross, Jr., 60, of Waterproof, LA will be held Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at 11:00am from the Harvest Baptist Church, 305 Lake Drive in Ferriday, LA. Burial will follow at the Consurella Cemetery on Lake St. John in Waterproof with Rev. Leroy White officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday evening from 4 to 7pm at the funeral home.

Mr. Ross, son of Leonard Ross and Evisteen Jordan was born in Oak Grove, LA and died at his residence. He was a retired offshore oil rig worker. He was also a Mason affiliated with the Pride of Waterproof Lodge #71.

He is survived by his wife, Rosa Shaw Ross of Waterproof, his mother, Evisteen Jordan Arnold of Greenville, MS; three sons, Daminen Ross of Monroe, LA; Courtney Ross of Bastrop, LA; Lenard Ross, III of Ruston, LA; one step-son, Larry Ellis, Jr. of Harrisburg, PA; two daughters, Chianti Ross of Dallas, TX and Shayla Ross of Waterproof; two brothers, John Ross of Shangaloo, LA and Jerimane Ross on Monroe, LA; one sister, Yvonne Trent of Hamburg, AR.

Also six grandchildren, one uncle and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. He is preceded in death by his father and one sister, Brenda Ross.
