A celebration of the life and legacy of Pastor Leroy Brown, 90, of Clayton, LA will be held Saturday, November 1, 2025 at 11:30am from the Harvest Baptist Church, 305 Lake Drive, Ferriday, LA. His son, Pastor J. Leo Brown, Sr. will deliver the eulogy and burial will follow at the Clayton Garden of Rest in Clayton. Visitation will be held Saturday morning from 9:00am to service time at the church.

Pastor Brown, son of Milton and Wilton White Brown was born in Sicily Island, LA and died at the Carpenter House in Baton Rouge, LA. He was an ordained minister, pastor of   Mt. Sinai Baptist Church in Alto, LA and Pilgrim Baptist Church in Waterproof, LA. He was also a retired painter. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Dorothy Collins Brown on May 28, 2020.

He is survived by two sons, Pastor J. Leo Brown, Sr. and his wife, Grace of Schriever, LA; Leroy Brown, Jr. of Clayton, LA. two brothers, Curtis Brown, Sr. (Ossie) of Clayton; James Leo Brown (Rosetta) of Houma, LA; three sisters, Dorothy Mae Baham (Billy) of Carson, CA; Lucille Brown Benjamin and Sophia McElroy both of Monroe, LA; five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, many friends and neighbors.

A repast will be held immediately after the burial for the Family, friends and out-of-town   guest at the Harvest Baptist Church Fellowship Hall.
