Services for Leroy Chatman, Jr. 65, of Ferriday, LA will be held January 30, 2016 at 11:00am from Rosehill Baptist Church in Ferriday. Burial will follow at Ferriday Cemetery with Rev. Eddie Schiele officiating.

Mr. Chatman, son of Leroy and Martha Jones Chatman was born in Natchez, MS and died at Heritage Manor Health & Rehab Center in Ferriday. He was a retired roustabout.

He is survived by two sons, Chris Chatman and his wife, Tabanika; Craig Green all of Ferriday; three daughters, Kimberly Evans of Prairieville, LA; Janelle Crowder of Monroe, LA; Dyeshia Jefferson of Baton Rouge, LA; two brothers, Leonard Posey of Bastrop. and Calvin Chatman and his wife, Belinda of Ferriday; five sisters, Gaye Joyce Tolliver of Raleigh, NC; Maxine Scott, Cynthia Yvonne Chatman and Patricia Chatman all of Ferriday; Janet Cage and her husband, Larry of Baton Rouge; one aunt, Ethel Batiste and her husband, Jeffery of San Bernardino, CA; twenty two grandchildren and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
