Funeral services for Lillian J. Jones, 83, of Ferriday, LA will be held Saturday, September 6, 2014 at 11:00am from St. James Baptist Church on Skipper Drive in Ferriday. Burial will follow at the Ferriday Cemetery with Bishop Justin Conner officiating.

Mrs. Jones, daughter of James and Beatrice Kale Johnson was born in Frogmore, LA and died at Christus St. Frances Hospital in Alexandria, LA. She was a private housekeeper.

She is survived by two sons, Jessie Johnson and David Johnson both of Ferriday; three daughters, Doris Johnson of Bossier City, LA; Cynthia Johnson of New Orleans; Joyce Johnson of Ferriday; five brothers, Charles Johnson and wife, Diane, of Ferriday; Wilbert Johnson and James Johnson both of Houston, TX; Eugene Johnson of Meridian, MS; David Johnson of Las Vegas, NV; two sisters, Lillie Mae Johnson and Susan Johnson; a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She is preceded in death by her parents and two sons, Herman Johnson and Lorenzo Johnson
