Funeral services for Lillie Strawder, 99, of Houston, TX, formerly of Waterproof, LA, who passed away peacefully, at her residence, with her family on April 3, 2022, will be at 11:00 AM, Saturday, April 16, 2022, at Myrtle Grove B.C. with Rev. James Beverly officiating.

Burial will follow at the Myrtle Grove Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 10 until service time at the church.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Lillie Strawder was born Aug. 18, 1922 in Foules, LA, the daughter of Henry Bell and Eurchie Washington.

She leaves to cherish her memories to her two sons, James Strawder, his wife Steffi, of Clinton, MS, Clarence Strawder, Jr., his wife Debra, of Houston, TX; four daughters, Patricia Wiley, Waterproof, LA, Edna Constant, her husband John, Mary Louise Strawder, all of Houston, TX, Sheryl Vaughn, her husband William, of Memphis, TN; twenty grandchildren, twenty-three great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.
