Services for Lisa M. Sheppard, 45, of Ferriday, LA, who died July 20, 2016, at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital in Baton Rouge, LA will be he1d at 1:00PM, Saturday, July 30, 2016, at Word of Faith Ambassadors Worship Center Outreach in Ferriday.Burial will follow at St. Mary Baptist Church cemetery at Lake St. John. Visitation will be from 4 to 6PM, Friday, at the funeral home.

Mrs. Sheppard was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Zan Russell and Robert Franklin; one sister, Janet "Faye" Franklin Thompson.

She is survived by her husband, Kelvin Sheppard; one son, Kelvin Sheppard, Jr.; two daughters, Breanna Watkins and Lashonna Sheppard. She raised as her own daughters, Whitney Johnson, Brittany Johnson and Jemica Johnson all of Ferriday; and Tracey Johnson of Baton Rouge, LA; thirteen brothers, Ronnie Watkins, Timmie Watkins(Linda), Leonard Watkins, all of Ferriday, LA, Anthony Franklin, Samuel Jackson, Johnny Jackson, Warren Neal all of Ferriday;, James Franklin of Vidalia, LA; Larry Franklin of Springfield, MA, John Franklin, Jr., and Jim Johnson of New Orleans, LA; Michael Castle of New Roads, LA and Rayfield Franklin of Houston, TX.

Also four sisters, Judy Johnson of Houston, TX; Mable Martin of Melville, LA; Helen F. Baker (Darryl)and Mary Franklin; twelve grandchildren; two aunts, Louise Jolla and Marie Tennessee; mother-in-law, Elizabeth Sheppard (Hershey Williams); three great-aunts, Lizzie Powell, Willie Montgomery, Mildred Davis, all of Ferriday, LA and a host of other family and friends.
