Funeral services for Mrs. Lois K. Wilkerson, 78, of Waterproof, LA will be held February 13, 2016 at 11:00am from Myrtle Grove Baptist Church in Waterproof. She will be interred beside her husband, Bobby Wilkerson, Sr. at the Canton Cemetery in Newellton, LA with Rev. Adrian Lundy officiating.

She was born in Baton Rouge, LA and died at the Our Lady of the Lake Hospital in Baton Rouge. She was a retired school teacher for the Tensas School System in Tensas Parish, LA.

Her survivors are two children, Bobby Wilkerson, Jr. and his wife, Shantrell of Waterproof; Tiffany W. Franklin and her husband, Correll of Baton Rouge; one sister, Shirley Hammond and her husband, John of Baton Rouge; one sister-in-law, Luehelen Lundy of Newellton, LA.

Also her grandchildren, Correll Franklin, Jr. and Cayden Franklin both of Baton Rouge; Jeremiah Wilkerson of Waterproof and a number of cousins and other relatives.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two brothers, Lloyd William Kelly, Sr., Donald Kelly, Sr.; one sister, Yvonne Coleman.
