Funeral services for Mrs. Louise King Yearby, 87, of Vidalia, LA will be held Saturday, March 21, 2015 at 11:00am from Starlight Baptist Church in Vidalia. Burial will follow at the Vidalia Cemetery with Pastor Leroy Brown officiating.

Mrs. Yearby, daughter of John and Mary Woods King was born in Vidalia and died at Heritage Manor Health & Rehab Center in Ferriday. She was a retired nurse's aide. She was also a member of Starlight Baptist Church where she faithfully on the Mother's Board until she was no longer able to attend church due to health issues.

Mother Yearby is survived by a devoted son and his wife, Willie "Bill" and Marie Yearby; three other sons, Leslie Yearby and Johnnie Yearby all of Vidalia; Charles Yearby of Ferriday; sister-in-law, Bertha King of Vidalia; and a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Frank Yearby; one son, Frank Yearby, Jr.; two brothers, Israel King and Clarence King.
