Funeral services for Marjorie Bowman, 90. of Vidalia, LA will be held Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at 11:00am from the Vidalia Convention Center in Vidalia, LA. Burial will follow at the Whitehall Cemetery in Vidalia under the directions of Concordia Funeral Home of Ferriday. Pastor Louis Banks will officiate. Visitation will be held Tuesday evening from 5 to 7pm at the funeral home with Eastern Star ceremonies performed at 6pm.

Mrs. Bowman, daughter of Solomon Sr., and Josephine Lee Lynch was born in Natchez, MS and died at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria, LA. She was retired from the Concordia Parish Council on Aging; a member of Union Baptist Church and a member of the Rosewood Chapter #65 O. E. S of Vidalia.

She is survived by three daughters, Audrey Shepherd and her husband, Jimmy of Vidalia; Barbara Berry and her husband, Melvin; Jo Ann Bowman all of Detroit, MI; one brother, Solomon Lynch, Jr. of Shreveport, LA; two grandchildren,  a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and loved ones.

Mrs. Bowman is preceded in death by her parents, two sons, Joseph Bowman, Jr. and Gregory Bowman
