Services for Mary Alice Davis 83, of Ferriday,LA will be Saturday, January 3, 2015 at 11:00am from Zion Hill Baptist Church in Ferriday and burial will follow at the church cemetery. Dr. Dave Mays will officiate.

Mrs. Davis, daughter of Harry Grace and Mary Kelly was born in Flint, MI and died at Natchez Community Hospital in Natchez, MS. She was a foster parent and was a foster mother to over 130 children for 33 years.

She is survived by two daughters, Natia Davis and Jazadric Davis both of Ferriday; step daughter, Joan Davis of Dacula, GA; one brother, four sisters, two grandchildren and her life long companion, Jake Davis, Sr.

She is preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Batan "Cheryl" Payton.
