Funeral services for Mary Eliza "Mae Liza" Saul Scott, 90, of Vidalia, LA will be held Saturday, December 5, 2015 at 11:00am from Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Vidalia. Burial will be held Monday, December 7, 2015 at 10:00am at the Natchez National Cemetery in Natchez, MS beside her husband, with Rev. Jarrod Bottley officiating.

Mrs. Scott. daughter of Dan and Charlotte Wallace Saul was born in Vidalia and died at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria, LA.

She was a food service technician for the public school system and a child-care provider for many years. She was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church where she served on the Usher Board and Mother's Board. She was also a member of the Ladies Relief Corp of Vidalia.

She is survived by five daughters, Delores Bell, Shirley Trust Bowman,
Madeline Scott, Alma Jean Bowman and her husband Leonard; Henrietta Ryan and her husband, Carl; one step daughter, Rhoda Whitley all of Vidalia; daughter-in-law, Sandra Scott of Jonesville, LA; one sister, Beatrice Saul of Vidalia; twenty grand children, forty two great grandchildren and seventeen great-great grandchildren; special friend, Clara Randall of Seattle, WA. And a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mrs. Scott is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Jessie Scott; one son, Don Scott, one step-son, Louis Scott; three brothers, Jim, Louis and Elijah Saul; two sisters, Stella Davis Barksdale and Charlotte Young.
