Funeral services for Mary Lee Hawkins, 52, of Ferriday, LA will be held Friday, February 27, 2015 at 11:00am from Deliverance Temple of Jesus Christ Full Gospel in Ferriday. Burial will follow at the Ferriday Cemetery with Pastor Jennie Kimble officiating.

Mary Lee was born in Jonesville, LA, daughter of Sam Colston and Rosie Lee Hawkins and died at Heritage Manor Health & Rehab Center in Ferriday. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by her mother, Rosie Lee Hawkins Dison of Vidalia, LA; two sons, George Lee Hawkins and Terrance "TJ" Hawkins; one daughter, Zakeeta Hawkins all of Ferriday; one brother, Umar Mustafa and his wife, Njadi of Upper Marlboro, MD; one sister, Margie Allen and her husband, Leroy of Madison, AL; special friends, Yvonne Green, Harry Johnson, Kimberly Pryor, Joyce Davis and Diane Davis all of Ferriday; Shanden King of Clayton, LA.

Mary is preceded in death by her grandparents who raised her, James and Elnora Hawkins; four aunts, Anjetta Thomas, Lillian Rombly, Dorothy Bell and Adell Burns; one uncle, James "Jimbo" Hawkins, Jr. and one sister, Laura Ann Baker.
