Funeral services for Mary Lou "Maelou" Yearby, 89, of Ferriday, LA will be held Saturday, December 14, 2019 at 11:00am from St. Paul Baptist Church in Ferriday under the directions of Concordia Funeral Home of Ferriday. Burial will follow at the Ferriday Cemetery with Rev. Eddie Schiele officiating. Visitation will be held Friday evening from 5 to 6pm at the funeral home.

Mrs. Yearby, daughter of Pinkey Azalena Jenkins was born in Ferriday and died at Riverbridge Specialty Hospital in Vidalia, LA. She was a retired cook. She was also a member of St. Paul Baptist Church where she served on the Mother's Board.

She is survived by one brother, Louis Jones; three sisters, Annie Bertha Boyd and her husband, Johnnie; Marie Williams and Ella Townsend all of Ferriday. And a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, friends and loved ones.
