Graveside services for Mrs. Josie Reed, 94, of Ferriday, LA were held July 11, 2020 at Ferriday Cemetery under the directions of Concordia Funeral Home of Ferriday.

Mrs. Reed, daughter of Mike and Hannah Sedcrest Reed was born in Saint Joseph, LA and died at her residence. She was the last of her siblings and died  one week from her 95th birthday.

Her survivors included:  her children, George Williams, Jr. and his wife, Jackie of Houston, TX; Larry Reed and his wife Sherry of Natchez, MS; Robert Reed and his wife, Lawanda of Lake Charles, LA; Patricia Williams and her husband, Billy Montgomery; Maxine Williams McNulty; Carrie Reed and her husband, Michael all of Ferriday.

Also thirteen grandchildren, twenty one great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. And a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
