Services for Mr. Melton Woods, 68, of Pontiac, MI formerly of Ferriday, LA will be held February 14, 2016 at 2:00pm at Concordia Funeral Home. Burial will foloow at the Luckett Family Cemetery in Monterey, LA with Rev. Eddie Schiele officiating.

Mr. Woods, son of Paul S. Woods and Helen Matthews was born in Ferriday and died at St. Joseph Hospital in Pontiac. He was retired from General Motors.

He is survived by two sons, Melton "Pedro" Bell and his wife, Shawte; Roland Whitehead and his wife, Kawnisha all of Arlington, TX; one daughter, Jacquelin Laffitte of Atlanta, GA; two brothers, James Woods of San Diego, CA and Paul Woods of Pontiac, MI. And a number of other relatives.

Mr. Woods is preceded in death by his parents.
