Funeral services for Miley King, 69 of Ferriday, LA formerly of Waterproof, LA will be held Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at 11:00am from the Myrtle Grove Baptist Church in Waterproof. Burial will follow at the Good Samaritan Cemetery in Waterproof with Rev. Frank Brown officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday morning from 10:00am to service time at the church.

Ms. King, daughter of Johnny King  and Frances Jones  was born in Waterproof, and died at Riverland Medical Center in Ferriday. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.

Her survivors include:  one son, Tyrone King and his wife, Monique of Powder Springs, GA; three daughters, Joyce King of Duluth, GA; Tracy King of Hampton, GA; Bernita Brussard and her husband, Daniel of Las Vegas, NV; two brothers, Leroy King and his wife, Mary of Waterproof; Charles King and his wife, Vanessa of Ferriday; three sisters, Lula Barr of Dillna SC; Dorothy Lee of Lathonia, GA; JoAnn King of Ferriday; four grandchildren, Veronica King of Atlanta, GA; Jessica Maddux and her husband, Robert of Hampton, GA; Coby King of Jonesboro, GA; Tobias Chisholm of Gainesville, FL and nine great-grandchildren.

Also a number of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and her friends at the Heritage Manor Health & Rehab Center in Ferriday where she had resided for a number of years.
